Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the best method of quickly cleaning up messes. The best robot vacs and mops in my tests come with top-quality mapping and navigation and are able to pick up Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.
They're also user-friendly with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and check on how they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combination. It is equipped with the latest features. This model of the highest quality is swift and agile and can pick up dirt such as hair from pets and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It features a sleek and elegant app interface with a mini-map of your home and buttons on the screen for manual control.
Another noteworthy characteristic of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode according to dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will pause and clean its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
It has a variety of other innovative features as well, including a different dock that connects to your home plumbing to clean and wash the mop roller without needing you to manually refill it. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to set the cleaning mode of your room and provide precise control with just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile alternatives. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums with combo features that also include mops but is priced at a lower cost than the majority of competitors.
As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it started. This includes setting up an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. After that, however, the robot can start vacuuming and mopping with ease.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process may take some time and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has a good picture of your room. Additionally, object detection can be unpredictable It was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to flip its back to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of a cleaning companion that does everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing which results in floors that are actually cleaned and not just cleaned. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that allows you to get into places that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.

The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and a few other smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can be used to learn your home's environment and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The smart app allows you to alter a variety of settings, including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each task to clean their pads and empty their dust bins and place debris into a self-sealing bag. This helps to keep the system tidy and stops allergens from circulating. The battery life is long enough to clean large areas without needing the battery to be charged mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more top-quality robot vacuums and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It has powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets, and a fantastic obstacle-avoiding. It also features a unique mopping method which uses a rolling device that is continuously spraying with water to collect dirt, and then dump it in the water tank.
Its navigation technology was effective in navigating close to walls without crashing, and avoiding stairs. It struggled with small particles and did not always clear the thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also quite high, so it may be a less reliable set-and-forget model than others.
Like many robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can refill its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with an established schedule. Eufy's app lets you manage all the functions. It provides a clear overview with plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot mowers and vacuums available, and it provides impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent accuracy, and the app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which can be a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system is equipped with intelligent carpet detectors, which raise the pads when they are near soft surfaces in order to keep them from getting contaminated.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance centre, automatically washing and drying the mops, and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their dust bins each time they are cleaned.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars less than the S8 and this robot is a slick job of keeping my office tidy and is able to tackle the corners of my cramped apartment. It uses laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D map of your home so it knows what to avoid. It has an object/obstacle detector that can block things like toys and dog bowls (but not poop) unlike most vacuums.
It also comes with other notable features, like a self-emptying dustbin and a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also customize the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood with high-pile rugs. And, if you're looking to cut down on time, it can even avoid mopping rooms that aren't soiled. It's a great choice for those who have a variety of flooring in your home but do not want to invest the extra money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle both regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy messes that are wet, this robot is a good choice. It offers a broad range of features including a self-emptying dustbin as well as an additional water refill dock, and adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to take care of tangled rug tassels, and its battery drains a little more quickly than other models we tested in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that provides an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it did extremely well overall. It has a variety of cleaning modes, from the low power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It will even automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads, and not leave your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum for those who live in cramped spaces. It's extremely silent and fast and it is able to navigate tight spaces efficiently. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair from carpets.
It's smaller than the majority of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent amount of suction power and it can be configured to take a photo of every object it picks up (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they don't get taken up in subsequent cleanings. robot vacuum cleaner cheap are secure, and are not tied to your account.
It's great at vacuuming, but not as well in mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that clip onto the bot's bottom, and then drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
